Pepper Description:

The Yaki Blue is a cross of Filius blue and a Bhut Jolokia pepper. Now in its 6th generation (2017), we are happy to be able to supply a stable seed crop for this variant. The plant and pods are a very deep purple, some pods are huge. The pods will take a very long time to completely ripen, but when they do the plant looks like its catching fire. Flavor is neat as well. The initial Bhut Jolokia flavor is strong but melts away to sweetish cayenne flavors. The Scoville on this pepper likely clock in at around 600,000 to 800,000.

Unlike others, we do not buy seeds from outside sources. Our plants are hand grown with tender loving care. Your purchase helps us to continue our quest to organically produce premium seeds here on our farm.
